Churchfields Academy offers extensive careers advice for all students. Independent Careers Advisors are available all week to help guide students through options, next steps, post 16 choices and to provide further advice on further/higher education and training. Elizabeth Stoker and Veronica Miles are our two Careers Advisors, based in the Salcombe Building next to Salcombe hall. They are available for careers advice and can also take students to visit New or Swindon Colleges. They are also available to talk to parents. Every year we hold a Careers Fair at the Academy where information and advice about jobs, further and higher education can be obtained. All the local colleges and sixth forms attend, along with Universities and local business offering Apprenticeships.
NATIONAL CAREERS WEEK 6TH – 10TH MARCH 2017
Careerpilot is proudly supporting National Careers Week during March 6th to 10th 2017, by offering pupils aged 13-19 a chance to complete an online treasure hunt on the Careerpilot website.
Pupils can follow this link to the Careerpilot NCW 2017 treasure hunt:
The treasure hunt requires pupils to follow clues to find four tokens that are located on different pages on the website.
As users navigate through the different parts of the Careerpilot site they will learn more about their future options.
Once pupils have found the four tokens they will be encouraged to complete the student survey and stand a chance of winning a £10 Amazon voucher.
The treasure hunt will be available from today until Tuesday March 14th 2017
