Providing a safe and happy learning environment is integral to achieving the wider objectives of Academy improvement: raising attainment, improving school attendance; promoting equality and diversity; and ensuring the well-being of all members of the Academy community. If a pupil feels safe at school, they are in a much better position to realise positive outcomes. Churchfields Academy is committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so that they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at Churchfields Academy. If bullying does occur, all students should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING academy. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell staff.
The NCA’s CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. They protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.
